Daniel graduated from Tec de Monterrey with a bachelor’s degree in finance, specializing in alternative investments and investment banking. He seized the opportunity to work at an international consulting firm and two local private equity firms in Guadalajara, collectively managing over $100 million in assets. Now at TLB, Daniel leverages this experience to add value to clients through expertise in FP&A, reports, and automation.

Explain your career path—how did you become a Senior Financial Analyst?

Ever since I was young, the diversity that exists in the world of finance has always caught my eye. After graduating from the Tec de Monterrey with a bachelor's degree in finance, and concentrations in alternative investments and investment banking, I had the opportunity to work at an international consulting firm and at two different private equity firms in Guadalajara with over $100 million dollars in assets under management combined.

Now at TLB, I can bring all these experiences and add value to our clients when it comes to FP&A, reports and automatization.

Can you describe your personal self?

I am a proactive individual with a relentless curiosity that drives me to explore new ideas and concepts. Always willing to learn and adapt, I eagerly seek out opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills in various domains.

What are your top personal values and how do you apply those to your work?

My top personal values are responsibility and dedication. I apply responsibility by consistently meeting deadlines and fulfilling commitments to the best of my ability, ensuring that I take ownership of my actions and decisions.

Additionally, my dedication is evident in my willingness to go above and beyond to achieve goals, putting in the necessary time and effort to deliver high-quality work consistently.

Why did you choose to come to The Launch Box?

I chose to come to The Launch Box because I was drawn to its innovative approach and firm culture. What excites me the most is the forecasted growth, particularly in achieving our goal of increasing the number of clients. There is a lot to learn from the experienced team, and I am excited to learn new things from each one of them.

What is a common misconception you hear about Finance?

A common misconception about finance is that it's solely about numbers and calculations. In reality, finance involves strategic decision-making, data analysis and effective communication when it comes to presenting results.

What is the most fulfilling part of your role at TLB?

The most fulfilling part of my role at TLB is helping our clients grow and reach their goals. Seeing the tangible impact of our work in their day-to-day lives is rewarding and reinforces why we are here at TLB.

What about the future of TLB are you most excited about?

I am most excited about the future growth of TLB. As we expand our reach and capabilities, there are endless opportunities to make an even greater impact, serve more clients effectively, and solidify our position in our industry.
